Moya Wren is a leading permanent make-up artist, based in Glasgow, Scotland. She is sought after by women all over the country for her outstanding, professional work. One of the most experienced technicians and a pioneer in the industry; she has been performing permanent make-up since 1996, and has been in the beauty industry since 1988. Her beauty experience includes working for Yves Saint Laurent, Clarins, Lancome and Lancaster, owning a salon, which ran successfully for 13 years and studied hairdressing and beauty for 3 years, earning her a CIBTAC diploma on beauty therapy. She also has a degree in Anatomy and Physiology, and a teaching qualification.
Moya is an artist which is an important attribute to being a successful permanent make-up specialist, so all of her work is bespoke to her clients, and drawn freehand instead of with a stencil. So she can give the most natural permanent make-up possible to suit YOU.
Because of her reputation, Moya is privileged to be the permanent make-up artist of choice for models, WAGs and local celebrities. Her client list includes WAGs Leah Shevlin, Laura Miller and Cheryl Ballinas, former Miss Scotland Nicola Mimnagh and Clyde One DJ 'Knoxy'.
Simone has worked within the beauty industry for 15 years as both a successful make-up artist and beauty therapist, and is highly passionate about all things beauty related and helping people look their best! Having trained and worked with some of the world’s top cosmetics brands such as MAC and Stila, she took her skills and worked as a successful freelance make-up artist for over 10 years. Then she decided to pass her skills on and taught both beauty and make-up artistry within a college for three years. This gave Simone a chance to further hone in on her skills and the boost to further her education by completing her HND in Beauty Therapy. Whilst in college, Simone became interested in a way of merging her make-up artistry, her beauty background and ultimately her creativity. This is when Simone met Moya. Permanent make-up was always something that interested Simone, so when Moya saw that she was a perfect fit for her assistant, that is where her professionalism, talent and passion for the field became apparent. Moya gave her the opportunity to shadow her, complete her intense training and finally became the newest member of the Moya Wren team.
