Moya Wren: Best Permanent Make Up Salon in Scotland... and that's official!

Moya was thrilled to receive the award for Best Permanent Make Up Salon in Scotland, at the inaugural Scottish Beauty Industry Awards held in Glasgow recently.

Having been qualified in beauty aesthetics for 30 years, Moya took the decision to specialise in offering clients permanent make-up specifically, for the face, in 1996 when she opened her (now multi award-winning) Glasgow studio.

"We have a skilled and experienced team of Artists in the Salon - all offering different areas of Permanent Make Up expertise. This means we can match the client to the appropriately experienced Artist to ensure the best possible results," said Moya. "The current leaning towards strong eyebrows has effected positive change to so many women's lives. For some, having defined eyebrows has helped build their confidence by enhancing their facial features, while for others it is the start of the journey to learn to love themselves."

Moya specialises in creating bespoke brows for every client. "Everyone is different with individual features. I create bespoke brows to suit each person's face and make-up and will never overpower the face - I will enhance it naturally," commented Moya. "After all, no one wants Saturday night eyebrows on a Sunday morning!" The Salon faced stiff competition from Salons Scotland wide to win the award.

Moya started her career in the Beauty industry in the 80's and during that time, built up an enviable reputation before opening her PMU salon in 1996. She has created thousands of bespoke eyebrows for men and women of all ages from all walks of life and is founder of the #BROWDOMINATION movement, a campaign which she launched last year offering complimentary PMU Brows to women in need - women with low self-esteem, women who have suffered through illness or abuse and who have struggled through life.

"We want to help women connect with the power and beauty within themselves," said Moya. "We want women to take pride in looking and feeling amazing - not for anyone else but for ourselves."

Moya is planning to split her time between the salon and travelling the globe offering her PMU services to salons that don't have PMU expertise in house. However, she is still working in the salon with her Artistic Team, so get your appointment at this Award Winning Salon in the diary now!  Book online by clicking here.
